Eligibility
The Professional Barber Institute is open to persons 18 years of age or older who possess a high school diploma or GED or agree to obtain a diploma or GED prior to completing the barber program. Students must demonstrate the interest in and motivation to participate in and complete the barber program. Each potential student must submit a PBI application and complete an interview with PBI Staff, as well as attend a mandatory program orientation upon admittance into the program.
